Love the simplicity of this and the effect of light on stone Ian
Ian Bradford: Thanks Chris. I liked the muted light which I felt suited the simple subject matter
That is such a simple crucifix isn't it, matching so well the window and wall behind it. Composition absolutely spot on Ian.
Ian Bradford: Thanks Brian. The simplicity really attracted me
I like the very delicate colours, which complement the delicacy of the window.
Ian Bradford: Thanks Tom. It was the subtleness and the simplicity that attracted me
The window is particularly beautiful Ian and the understated Crucifix works well with it
Ian Bradford: Thanks Bill. The simplicity of it really attracted me
Fine clean lines and colours, quite different to what we see at home.
Ian Bradford: Yes, it really struck me as soon as I saw it. Can't remember where it was but remember it was the coldest Easter that I can remember

Looks good, Ian. I like the airy feel to the church with the light colours.
Ian Bradford: Thanks Alan. The Church did have an amazing quality to it
This is beautifully framed, Ian!
Ian Bradford: Thanks Elizabeth. I did have to crop it quite a bit

It is a very striking carving, Ian, and these muted colours are lovely
Ian Bradford: I can remember that it was bitterly cold outside with a leaden sky (probably this created the muted light) and feeling really taken with the simplicity and the clean lines

The flowers stand out beautifully against the very muted tones.
Ian Bradford: I thiunk that the freezing cold and leaden skys were rfesponsible for the muted light. Glad you like it
I like everything about this image, Ian, especially the composition!
Ian Bradford: Thanks Ginnie. I have to say that the scene, simple as it was, did inspire me at the time. Glad I was able to capture some of that
nicely framed and presented. i like the minimalist feel of this image and the bright exposure too
Ian Bradford: Thanks Ayush. There was just something about the scene that inspired me at the time. It was a beautiful place - even if I can't remember where it was!
A fine capture... There's a softness about it with the colouring and light.
A wonderful capture...
